About the event
What is it?
The American Community Gardening Association (ACGA) has partnered with USDA to provide educational opportunities to communities and connect them to local community gardens, farms and promote superfoods. Participants learn proven strategies that community organizers use to develop dynamic leaders and create strong communities through a participatory approach. As a "train the trainers" session, attendees learn the principles and practices of community building, and how to pass these techniques on to others in their community by conducting their own workshops.
