The conference committee invites proposals for the childhood obesity pre-conference workshop on Thursday, August 5, 2010. Complete instructions and required forms are available for download here. Email completed forms to bjwhitney@dhrstate.ga.us by midnight (Eastern) on Friday, March 19, 2010.

2. Call for Conference Presentations - Holistic Approach to Building Sustainable and Healthy Communities

The conference committee is seeking proposals for presentations for the 31st Annual Conference, August 5-8, 2010, to share a wide range of information about gardening and greening. We are seeking a diverse group of presenters, including:

* Community Gardeners * Horticulturists * Landscape Designers and Architects * Arborists and Foresters * Open Space Advocates * Organizers and Leaders * Public Employees * Parks and Planning Staff * Teachers and other educators * Community Food Security Advocates * Youth * Artists and Filmmakers * Horticultural Therapists * Nutritionists * Master Gardeners

All proposals must be postmarked by April 1, 2010. We prefer submissions by e-mail to vgarrett@communitygarden.org.
